The OPA Student Cup planning committee is composed of a team of 9 students, chaired by UofT student board member Zenah Surani and UofT co-ed athletic representative, Brendon Wiebe.  Started in 2009, the bitter sweet hockey rivalry between Ontario's two schools of pharmacy is a much-loved tradition for all students, and its venue alternates between Toronto and Waterloo each year.

Over the years, the hockey tournament has grown to become more than a hockey competition to determine which school is better, the OPA Student Cup planning committee and its members saw the event as a chance for students from both schools to network and build lasting friendships.  With the support of sponsors, the committee was able to hold OPASC 2011 in the heart of downtown Toronto at the Varsity Arena.  They are grateful to have had Remedy'sRx support this year and for helping them to continue this great tradition between Ontario's pharmacy schools.
