Sameh has been practicing pharmacy for 33 years. He spent many years practicing pharmacy independently in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. When he moved to Canada he worked for a corporate chain for about 10 years and as the industry began to shift and the corporate vision and mission began to shift away from patient care focus, Sameh decided it was time for him to start his own independent pharmacy.

Armia started his pharmacy practice since 1983 and similar to his partner Sameh, he worked in Egypt and Saudi Arabia for many years until he moved to New Brunswick in 1999 where he too went corporate for about 3 years. Armia than ventured off and moved to Ontario where he continued to work within the corporate environment but quickly realized that there was an disconnect between the various roles in the organization with little focus or emphasis on patient care.

With similar goals and focus in mind, Armia and Sameh teamed up to open John Young Pharmacy Remedy’sRx where their mission and goal is to provide highest level of patient care possible.
