HERE WE GROW AGAIN: KINGSWAY PHARMACY REMEDY'SRx

Owner Projna Mitra opened her doors to the community on March 29th, 2012.

The location Projna chose is a highly residential area in a small plaza that also has a dentist office and a Doctor’s office just around the corner where Projna will plan to do some outbound marketing and networking. The Kingsway area is a small community within Oakville that she felt was underserved with an estimated 10,000 people and the closest Pharmacy being more than 2km away.

Projna joined Remedy’sRx after spending time with Drug Basics for 2 years before she decided to branch out and open her own Pharmacy. Projna chose the Remedy’sRx banner because she wanted to work in a community based Pharmacy as opposed to a big box. Projna says she found the Remedy’sRx website useful and appreciated the support she received from the planning stages, initial store design all the way to the final merchandising stage. ‘Remedy’s was there to guide me throughout the entire process’.
